Valentine High School and Elementary School will be conducting a drill to prepare for a Lockdown and Evacuation situation on Monday, April 16th, at the end of the school day. The Valentine Police Department, Cherry County Sheriff’s Department, and Valentine Volunteer Fire Department will be assisting in the drill. Students will be dismissed from the Methodist Church at the end of the drill. If your child needs picked up after school, we ask that you pick them up from the Methodist Church, 804 E 5th St. If your student walks after school, we ask that you have a conversation with them about what route they will need to use. We will have staff and law enforcement available to be sure students are able to cross 5th Street safely.
Valentine Middle School will be conducting a drill to prepare for a Lockdown and Evacuation situation on Wednesday, April 18th, at the end of the school day. The Valentine Police Department, Cherry County Sheriff’s Department, and Valentine Volunteer Fire Department will be assisting in the drill. Students will be dismissed from the Presbyterian Church at the end of the drill. If your child needs picked up after school, we ask that you pick them up from the Presbyterian Church, 325 N Victoria St. If your student walks after school, we ask that you have a conversation with them about what route they will need to use.
