The Office Manager is responsible for recording and maintain financial transactions, ensure FCC regulatory and advertiser contract requirements are met. Need to be consistent, accurate, with a positive attitude. Ensure there is continuity between on-air and on-line information. He/she needs to enjoy being the first that many will engage with when contacting the station.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and traffic logs.
• Update and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile entries into accounting system
• Timely financial reports or topic reports as needed by sales and manager.
• Use knowledge of laws and restrictions to comply with reporting requirements.
• Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
• Provide documentation for advertiser reimbursements.
• Social media input, monitoring, optimization and reporting.
• Manage office inventory.
• Must have solid people skills and able to work individually or in a team environment
• Ensure the KVSH brand standards are met across all platforms
• Promote the KVSH brand and its values at all opportunities
• Utilize and document use of available resources to improve skills.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Basic accounting knowledge with an understanding of accounting best practices
• Some knowledge of digital social media.
• Data entry skills
• High attention to details
• Knowledge of QuickBooks (Excel, Word) and other applications or the ability to learn
• Must be able to work quickly and accurately under deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to prioritize workload; attention to detail, organization and time management.
