Account Executive
Responsible for developing, closing and maintaining advertising accounts for radio station.
A radio sales accountant executive will handle client accounts and develop new accounts. Your duties include maintaining/growing current clients and finding advertising or sponsorship opportunities for programming and ensuring their brands are a good fit with our listeners and format. As the radio sales account executive, you are the liaison between your brand clients and the radio programming. You will create marketing synergy and develop publicity events and on-air promotions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage, renew and renegotiate terms with existing clients to generate revenue for radio and digital media
• Arrange in-person meetings with current and potential clients to discuss their needs and how radio can help them reach those goals.
• Maintain good client relationships while building new client relationships and rapport.
• Develop creative sales presentations to aid the clients
• Research current and potential new business accounts and new promotions.
• Meet strict deadlines and respond in a timely and professional manner.
• Create, produce and schedule ad copy.
• Meet sales goals.
• Address any issues with clients or potential clients before issues develop.
• Ensure the KVSH brand standards are met across all platforms
• Promote the KVSH brand and its values at all opportunities
• Utilize and document use of available resources to improve skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A strong desire to prospect and create new business opportunities across on-air and digital platforms.
• Sales experience desired
• Proven track record of achieving overall monthly, quarterly and annual sales or other ability to.
• Take pride in exceptional customer service.
• Excellent written, verbal, listening and organizational skills.
