The Nebraska State Patrol is urging motorists in the state to prepare for a winter storm later this week that’s expected to make driving dangerous. The patrol says those who must be on the road should stay up-to-date on travel conditions, reduce their speed and carry a red flag or bandanna to attach to the outside of the vehicle and signal for help should it become stranded. 2 – 4 inches are expected around the Valentine Area.
