Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
October 27- Nov 2, 2019
On 10/30/19 at 5:35 pm, Officers from the Valentine Police Department and Cherry County Sheriff’s Office were requested to respond to the 300 block of east highway 20 in regards to a dispute that may have a handgun involved. Following an investigation, a juvenile male from Georgia was cited and released to his parent.
On 11/01/19 at 8:36 pm, Officers receive a delayed report of terroristic threats. A complete and thorough review of this complaint has been unsuccessful due to uncooperative witnesses and suspect.
Officers responded to 136 calls for service this week.
Officers hosted the 6th Annual Scare in the Square with over 350 participants.
