The Cherry County Commissioners met Tuesday for a regular meeting. Todd Rothleutner, from the Village of Kilgore, met with the board to discuss water drainage problems in the community. The county will look at cleaning out some culverts and possibly replacing others to help with drainage problem.
The commissioners approved a resolution for a conditional use permit for the Kilgore Wind farm.
The board discussed a proposed amendment to the zoning regulations from William Weller. It was decided to send this amendment back to the planning commission to be considered while the commission revises zoning regulations on wind and solar.
The county will proceed with a newer vehicle for Cherry County Emergency management office and went into executive session to discuss courthouse security.
The next meeting for the Cherry County Commissioners will be on November 12th.
