Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
September 22-28, 2019
On 9/22/19 at 7:39 am, an Officer was requested to respond to the 900 block of west B Street in regards to a disturbance. Following the investigation, a 45 year old Valentine woman was arrested for assault.
On 9/23/19 at 9:07 pm, Officers were requested to respond to the 300 block of north Hall Street in regards to a disturbance and fire. Upon arrival, Officers found the fire to be under control and a 37 year old Valentine man was cited for disturbing the peace.
On 9/25/19 at 1:58 am, Officers received a report of a break in near the 700 block of east C Street. The suspect initially fled the area, but Officers were able to apprehend him. A 19 year old South Dakota man was arrested for burglary.
On 9/27/19 at 12:14 pm, an Officer was requested to respond to the 100 block of north Main Street in regards to a disturbance. The officer found multiple individuals had been involved in a fight resulting in minor injuries. A 27 year old Valentine woman and 24 year old South Dakota male were arrested for assault.
On 9/28/19 at 2:27 am, Officers were requested to respond to the 100 block of east highway 20 in regards to an assault. EMS was requested to respond. A 19 year old Valentine man was arrested for assault causing serious bodily injury.
Officers responded to 139 calls for service this week.
