September 19, 2019 (Ainsworth, Neb.) —The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is reporting Highway 12 between Spencer and Niobrara is closed to through traffic as a result of a landslide near Bristow. Based on initial assessments, the slide does not appear to be flood related.
Motorists, especially semi-truck traffic, are advised to take marked detours.
