Valentine Police Department Week in Review: August 25-31, 2019
On 8/25/19 at 9:00 pm, Officers responded to a report of 3 juvenile females being involved in an assault with minor to no injuries. The report findings will be forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for his review due to the ages of those involved.
On 8/25/19 at 9:26 pm, an Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of east highway 20. Following an investigation, a 35 year old California man was arrested for possession of drugs.
On 8/29/19 at 12:44 pm, an Officer was requested to respond to Bomgaars in regards to a delayed shoplifting report. The suspect has been identified and an arrest warrant is being sought for the theft.
Officers responded to 102 calls for service this week.
