Weather permitting, work will begin August 5 on N-61, south of Hyannis, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Werner Construction, Inc., of Hastings, Nebraska, has the $821,215 contract. Work includes milling, asphalt overlay and fog seal.
Traffic will be maintained utilizing flaggers and pilot cars. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration of the project. Anticipated completion is August 2019.
Motorists are asked to drive cautiously in and near construction zones and to expect delays.
