Mary Jane Kermmoade loves all aspects of quilting and is a piecer and long armer.
Quilting became her favorite hobby after a Girl Scout Leader introduced her to a sewing machine. She joined a hand quilting group in 1997 where she became aware of the creative possibilities. Her hobby became a business in 2012 when she added a long arm to her studio. In 2017 a quilt she quilted was accepted and shown at the International Quilt Festival in Chicago. She has taken classes with nationally known teachers, served as Lancaster County Fair Nebraska Quilt Superintendent, Quilt Hanging Chairperson for Lincoln Quilters Guild Quilt Show, and Co President of Midwest Machine Quilters. She is now the treasure for the Midwest Machine Quilters. She is a member of several quilting groups including Quilts of Valor in Lincoln, Nebraska where she lives with her husband and 2 cats.
