General Manager of MNNRD Mike Murphy is hosting a meeting on excess water on Tuesday, July 9th at 4 pm at the Middle Niobrara NRD Meeting Room, along with Neil Moseman, a member of Senator Fischer’s staff. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss long term watershed management, reducing impacts of excess water and drought times, and to dispel some of the misnomers about different activities that agencies are involved with and the needs of the local landowners to continue to be able to operate and make a living. The public is invited to this informational meeting on Tuesday, July 9th at 4 pm at the MNNRD office on Highway 20.
