On 6/25/19 at 7:31 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersections of Hall and 4th Streets. The 43 year old female driver from Valentine was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle.
On 6/26/19 at 6:27 pm, officers were requested to respond to the intersection of Thatcher and Candice Streets in regards to an assault. A 19 year old Valentine man sustained minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
On 6/26/19 at 10:50 pm, a caller from Airport Road reported the theft of a dog. The dog was returned the next day by unknown persons.
On 6/26/19 at 12:50 am an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersections of B and Western Streets. A 66 year old Valentine woman was cited for driving under suspension.
On 6/28/19 at 10:59 am, officers responded to a non-injury accident on Main Street. A vehicle backed into oncoming traffic striking one of the vehicles. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
On 6/28/19 at 3:15 pm, a 54 year old Valentine woman was cited for a city ordinance violation.
On 6/29/19 at 9:07 pm, following a traffic stop a 39 year old South Dakota woman and a 37 year old South Dakota man were arrested on active warrants, criminal impersonation and drug charges.
Officers conducted programs this week for the Grace Lutheran Vacation Bible School and the Valentine School Summer Lunch Program.
