The Niobrara Valley Wildlife Preserve will be conducting another prescribed burn this evening, Tuesday, April 23, 2019, west of Plum Creek. This burn will begin 4 miles south of Norden Bridge and 5.5 miles east of Norden Road. Black lines will be lit at about 2 pm CT, with the main ignition at 5 pm CT, so this prescribed fire will burn well into the evening.
KVSH Radio received word that the Rocking J Ranch south of Nenzel will be conducting a controlled burn this afternoon.
