The North Central RC&D will help sponsor a meeting on February 4th in Valentine to discuss composting. There will be two sessions during the day. At 3pm they will discuss possible contributors to the composting effort and then at 7pm logistics of getting it started will be reviewed. One of the outcomes of the meetings could be a composting business using local ingredients and supplying area agricultural interest and the general public. The public is welcome to attend part or all of the days informative sessions at Mid Plains Community college Campus. Experts will talk about the benefits and logistics of composting.
