Over 200 area residents attended a banquet Friday evening to support the Sandhills area Foundation. The annual banquet was held at the Cherry County Fairgrounds 4-H building. The Foundations has given out over a half million dollars in scholarships and community grants. Over $60,000 in scholarships were give out this past year, along with $20,000 in grants. A silent and live auction was held with proceeds going toward the scholarships and grants in the future.
