This year’s annual Sandhills Area Foundation banquet will be held on November 2nd at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine. The theme is “Cowboy Up”. Social hour begins at 5pm with beef brisket meal served at 6:30, catered by Henderson IGA. There will be a live auction after the banquet meal with almost 90 items up for auction this year. Some of those items include a bison hunt, side by side cake feeder, beef with processing, hand crafted knife, a few guns, and a cabin rental.
There will be a drawing for a $5,000 triple A travel gift certificate which can be used for various travel over the next 5 years.
Tickets are available from Foundation board members including, Mark Johnson, Monty Neiffer, Steve Brown, Sheila Wheeler or Duane Kime.
