A group of nine students from the UNL School of Landscape Architecture will be in Valentine Tuesday evening to present ideas about improving the quality of life in the Valentine area. This has been the entire focus of these students this semester. After two other visits to Valentine to collect information, the group has focused on specific areas of the community. They have incorporated data from demographics and economics to help study the community. There will be information presented on what’s developing with preschool, daycare, housing, leadership program along with focus on Main Street renovation, possible uses for old city gym, trails & recreation and other topics. The public is encouraged to participate in this gathering at Mid Plains College Campus at 6pm on this evening(Tues). The objective is to come up with key projects that can be undertaken by the community.
