The much anticipated opening of Fredrick Peak Golf club has finally arrived. According to course superintendent Tad Buechle, the course is now open thanks to nicer weather. With temperatures expected at 70 Monday and again this weekend, golfers are invited to reserve a tee time by calling the clubhouse at 402 322 2754. There will be a Spring Fling event on May 19th featuring 27 holes of golf. The one day tournament will feature a scramble, an alternate shot and best ball format and will begin at 9am. Entry fee will be $150 for a two person team which will include golf, a cart and the evening meal. Contact the clubhouse for sign up.
Memberships are still available at the Valentine City offices or at the Frederick Peak Golf Club.
