The special enforcement effort that began on March 16 and ended on March 18th held by the Valentine Police Department and sponsored by the North Central District Health Department had limited success. Weather and the flu bug hampered patrol activities. Despite these factors, Officers patrolled a total of 609 miles and made 1 arrest for a warrant. Traffic stops that were made were for failing to stop at stop signs, driving after dark with no lights on and driving left of center.
