The remaining two vehicles that were stolen during a crime spree last week have now been recovered. The Valentine Police Department had requested assistance from area law enforcement to be on the lookout for the vehicles. Rosebud Sioux Tribe Police Officers contacted the Valentine Police Department earlier this week and reported the Ford SUV had been located and some arrests had been made in connection with this theft. Names of those arrested were unavailable due to their ages. Due to muddy roads in the area, RST Police were unable to continue the search for the second vehicle. Officers with the Valentine Police and RST Police along with the assistance of Sandhills Aero’s Bob Kilmer were able to locate the second missing vehicle from the air. This successful recovery of the stolen vehicles would not have been possible without the diligent efforts of the RST Police Department.
