Despite temperatures only reaching a high of 8 degrees on Saturday, the 17th Annual Bull Bash had a nice turnout. The Fun Run/Walk was held as planned. Many indoor activities allowed the crowds a chance to warm up, including art show, quilt show, gun and craft show, Philly sandwich feed, among others. Nebraska Cattlemen held a Property Tax Panel, and attendees included Adrian Smith and Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley. The 4-H Luck of the Draw brought in a good crowd, as well as the Wine Tasting, benefiting the Sandhills Cancer Fund. A few winners have been reported to KVSH: Ron Worth won the Bull Bash gun raffle and Jeff Hanna won the 100X Hat from the Bar None Hat Company. The Bar J Wranglers entertained both Friday and Saturday nights, bringing music and fun to this year’s activities. Stay tuned to KVSH as we’ll report more results as they become available.
