Emergency crews were dispatched 5 miles east of the Eli junction on Hwy 20 in north central Cherry County. Cody Volunteer Fire Department as well as firemen from Valentine and EMS personnel from Cherry County Hospital Ambulance responded to the report of a two vehicle accident with injuries. According to officials with the Nebraska State Patrol, the incident took place at mile marker 151 when a 2013 Subaru Outback collided with a 2019 GMC Sierra. Three people were involved in the accident, two of which were transported by ambulance to Cherry County Hospital. The NSP is investigating the incident.
