During the week of June 15th to June 21st, the following arrests were made by the Valentine Police Department:
On June 16th at approximately 4:40 PM, officers responded to a series of disturbance complaints in the city. Just before 5:00 PM, the male subject was located in the 300 Block of North Main Street. The subject, a 48 year old Nebraska man, was arrested for Disturbing the Peace.
On June 18th, at approximately 8:45 PM, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 20 and Thacher Street. The driver, a 38 year old Nebraska woman, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving with a
Suspended Operator’s License.
In total, the police department responded to 48 calls for service during the week, including:
18 traffic stops
5 animal complaints
3 welfare checks
1 non-injury vehicle accident
1 motor vehicle theft
1 fraud
