The Cherry County Assessor’s Office has notified KVSH Radio of the assessment ratios as found in the county as determined by the tax equalization and review commission as well as other statistical measures during statewide equalization hearings. Here are the statistical measures for Cherry County: Residential properties at 95% of assessed value, Commercial at 93% and Agricultural at 71%. School bond value agricultural land will be at 50% of assessed value. County Assessor Melissa Bancroft also stated that the 2025 assessment roll is complete and notice of valuation changes have been mailed. Valuation protests may be filed with the Cherry County Board of Equalization from June 1 to June 30, 2025.
