During the week of May 4th to May 10th, the following arrests were made by the Valentine Police Department:
On May 6th, at 9:20 AM, a 44 year old Nebraska man was arrested for Third Degree Domestic Assault
On May 8th, at 12:20 AM, a 41 year old South Dakota woman was arrested in the 400 block of North Valentine Street on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On May 10th at 6:30 PM, a 66 year old Nebraska man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol near the intersection of Government and Bias Streets
During the week the police department responded to 42 calls for service, including:
10 traffic stops
2 animal complaints
2 welfare checks
2 disturbances
1 theft from a vehicle
