For the week of 2/23/25 to 3/1/25, the following arrests were made:
On February 26th at 8:30 AM, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 400 block of
West 2nd Street. The vehicle was recovered later that day in Rapid City, South
Dakota. A 30 year old South Dakota man was arrested by the Rapid City Police
Department for possession of a stolen vehicle and driving under the influence of
alcohol.
Also on February 26th, at 9:00 PM, officers responded to a disturbance in the 200
block of South Helen Street. A 30 year old South Dakota woman was arrested for
Trespassing and booked into the Cherry County Jail.
In all, during the week the Police Department responded to 67 calls for service,
including:
18 Traffic Stops
3 Domestic Disturbances
2 Harassment complaints
1 Assault
