According to Debbie Galloway, the Valentine Bull Bash Quilt Show held Saturday, February 15, 2025, was a great success.
Forty-nine quilts representing many patterns, styles, colors, and decades from Valentine and the surrounding communities made the show a challenge for those willing to cast their votes for their favorite quilts. These brave souls came and went all day at a steady pace.
Helen Madison won first place with a Black and White quilt. Second place went to Rita Jacquot of Martin with her Poinsettia Tree Christmas Quilt. Third place went to Sonja Lurz with her Scottish Cow quilt.
Sam and Annie Bailey welcomed the quilters, as their predecessors have in the past, at Nelson furniture on main street. Thank you to the quilt enthusiasts and the generous people who entered their quilts. Thanks to the volunteers who helped to make the show run so smoothly. Despite the weather we had a wonderful time!
