On February 14th Valentine Livestock Auction will host a livestock judging contest for area 4-H members, FFA members and college students. At this time organizer Brent Nollette told KVSH they expect 150 to 200 participants. They currently have schools from Nebraska, Wyoming and Arkansas entered. They have interest from schools in Oklahoma and Missouri.
Nollette stated that registration will be 8 to 3:30 on the 14th, with the contest starting at 9AM. Pre-Registrations close on February 7th.
The event will consist of eight classes of cattle of which could include bulls, heifers, prospect steers, and feedlot steers. Be sure to check out this great livestock judging event at Valentine Livestock on the 14th.
