According to the Cherry County Sheriff’s Office, a Cherry County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped an Oklahoma vehicle on Highway 20, the evening of January 28, 2025. The vehicle was being driven by a New Mexico male. The deputy located over 6 lbs of methamphetamine inside the vehicle. The man was arrested and is being held on several felony charges. Street value for meth varies, however the Cherry County Sheriffs Office reports that this is estimated at $30,000 – $35,000.
