The annual Heart City Bull Bash will hit Valentines Main Street on February 15th, 2025. They are expecting around 20 pens of bulls and a variety of equipment dealers, feed and mineral providers, and other ranching services.
The Heart City Bull Bash was started over 20 years ago to showcase bull power that was available to ranchers to improve their herds. The dream was to shut down Main Street in Valentine, Nebraska and fill it with pens of cattle.
The 2025 Livestock Judging is shaping up to be even better than last year’s. It will be held on February 14 at the Valentine Livestock Auction. The 2024 event included local 4-H youth, FFA members from across the state and collegiate teams from several states.
The Fun Run/Walk is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15,
The 2025 Vendor and Craft Show will be held at the Connot Brothers Auction Building from 10-4 pm.
February is Nebraska 4-H Month and Cherry County is celebrating by hosting the annual 4-H “Luck of the Draw” fundraiser during the Heart City Bull Bash on February 15 at the extension office.
The 2025 Wine Tasting will be held in Sandhills State Bank at 312 N Main Street. It will be held from 2-4 pm.
There will be a People’s Choice Quilt Show Saturday, February 15, 2025, 9:00 to 4:00 pm CT at Nelsen Furniture on Main Street. Quilts of any size, antique or modern, all styles are welcome.
Many Main Street businesses will also have in store specials for the event.
