According to Valentine Police Chief Jamon Slama, the following arrests were made during the week of 01/19/25 to 01/25/25
On 1/22, at 4:25 AM, officers responded to a disturbance on Lodi Street in Valentine. A 22 year old Nebraska woman and a 22 year old South Dakota woman were arrested for misdemeanor assault.
On 1/25, at 11:40 PM, an officer responded to a complaint of a disorderly man near the intersection of 2nd and Main Streets. A 44 year old South Dakota man was arrested on the offenses of Disturbing the Peace and Resisting Arrest.
During the week officers responded to 59 calls for service, including: 25 traffic stops, 4 reported thefts, 3 Animal complaints, 2 Domestic Disturbances and 2 Welfare checks
