Valentine Volunteer Fire Department and Cherry County Hospital Ambulance Service assisted the Cherry County Sheriff’s Office in response to a one vehicle rollover on US 20/83 just east of Valentine on Sunday. The initial request for emergency personnel at about 4:12pm advised that there was a potential Hazardous Materials concern. According to Sheriff Rusty Osborn, a semi-truck rolled on a curve, and there was no hazmat threat upon inspection of the accident. No injuries were reported in the incident. The Nebraska State Patrol also assisted in the investigation of this incident.
