A Valentine Police Officer initiated a traffic stop at about 6:30pm on Wednesday at the intersection of 3rd and Hall Street near the Post Office. The female driver fled and officers initiated a brief vehicle pursuit on 3rd street which was discontinued due to road conditions and consideration of public safety. The incident is under investigation. No other details have been released at this time.
