According to KWYR Radio, a vehicle fire claimed the life of a person in Winner. Emergency services responded to the report of a vehicle on fire. Winner Police Department, Winner Volunteer Fire and Tripp County Ambulance all responded. Upon arrival, officers found a person in the vehicle who was taken from the vehicle and transported to Winner Regional Healthcare Center via ambulance. The person reportedly died shortly after arrival to the hospital. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
