Open Plains Transit will be hosting two community meetings on Thursday, January 9th at the Mid-Plains Community College in Valentine. The purpose of these meetings is to collect input from two separate sectors of Cherry County and surrounding communities to assist in OPT’s 5-year Transportation Development Plan.
The first begins at 0830 and is reserved for various health care, government and surrounding transportation representatives, business owners, social services and aging agencies only. If you have not received an invitation from OPT, please contact them at 308-761-8747. Attendees from this session are encouraged to stay for the following session.
The second meeting begins at 1030 and is open to the public. Both meetings will be structured as working meetings to provide positive dialogue with structured outcomes.
