Cherry County Sheriff’s Office, Valentine Volunteer Fire Department and Cherry County Hospital Ambulance Service responded in the early hours of December 21st. The Saturday morning report of a one vehicle accident prompted a quick response by emergency personnel. According to radio traffic, the accident took place west of Valentine after a vehicle went off the highway and struck a tree line. No details have been released concerning the driver of the vehicle who was the lone occupant in the accident.
