The Valentine Police Department November 17 - 23, 2024
Incidents/Arrests:
On 11/19/2024 at 8:04 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near A and Western
Streets. A 36 year old Valentine man was cited for a stop sign violation.
On 11/19/2024 at 8:18 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 2nd and Western
Streets. A 58 year old Valentine man was cited for a stop sign violation and
possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
On 11/21/2024 at 5:56 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of
east highway 20. A 21 year old Valentine man was cited for speeding.
On 11/23/2024 at 8:27 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near Hall and 5th
Streets. A 32 year old Valentine man was arrested for possession of a controlled
substance (THC concentrates).
Calls:
On 11/19/2024 at 12:21 am, multiple loud bangs were heard in the 900 block of north
Moon Street. The source of the bangs was not located.
On 11/20/2024 at 8:20 am, a welfare check was requested in the 600 block of west 3rd
Street.
On 11/20/2024 at 12:16 pm, a suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of east
highway 20.
On 11/20/2024 at 7:01 pm, the department was contacted by a man who wanted to turn
himself in because he believed he had a warrant.
On 11/20/2024 at 10:00 pm, a suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of
north Macomb Street.
On 11/21/2024 at 3:53 am, a disturbance occurred in the 800 block of Donaher Street.
On 11/21/2024 at 5:04 pm, multiple gun shots were heard with "buckshot" falling on
the home in the 800 block of Craig Street.
On 11/22/2024 at 1:16 am, a welfare check was requested at 3rd and Main Streets.
On 11/22/2024 at 11:19 am, a dog was running at large in the 400 block of west A
Street.
On 11/22/2024 at 11:59 am, a non-injury accident occurred in the 400 block of north
Main Street.
On 11/22/2024 at 7:44 pm, a disturbance occurred near 1st and Main Street.
On 11/23/2024 at 1:13 am, a suspicious vehicle was reported near 4th and Cherry
Streets.
On 11/23/2024 at 8:16 am, a disturbance occurred in the 500 block of north
Government Street.
On 11/23/2024 at 2:07 pm, a suspicious person was reported in the 700 block of
Candace Street.
On 11/23/2024 at 9:26 pm, a disturbance occurred in the 400 block of north Valentine
Street.
Officers responded to 92 calls for service this week.
Officers conducted 22 traffic stops this week.
