The Cherry County Ag Society held their annual meeting last night at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. About 20 members of the public attend along with Ag Society members. The main item of business was the annual election of board members. Justin Hartman announced that he will be stepping down after the December meeting due to other responsibilities with other organizations. Reagan Jerred also announced that he was stepping down due to conflict with his occupation. Eric Ravenscroft was filling the term of Josh Delaney who resigned earlier this year. There were three nominations for the three board positions, Eric Ravenscroft, Eve Millar and Reece Weber who all indicated they would accept a position. There were 34 eligible voters, including board members who cast ballots. Ravenscroft received 33 votes, Weber 32 and Millar 24. All three were elected to 3 year terms. In other business the board reviewed a financial report and minutes of last meeting along with a little discussion on 2025 County Fair and the July 4th Demo Derby. They do have a three-year contract with Wreckless Promotions to help with derby.
