Whether you love that extra hour of sleep or despise the earlier sunset, it’s almost time to set your clocks back, as Sunday, Nov. 3, marks the end of daylight saving time 2024.
Clocks fall back one hour at 2 a.m. As we inch closer to the impending time change, the sun will start setting a few minutes after 6 p.m. After the time change, the sun will start setting about 5:26 p.m. and earlier and earlier as we enter winter.
The time change can be jarring, throwing off the sleep patterns and altering internal schedules for young children and pets. But like it or not, the time change is fast approaching.
