Incidents/Arrests:
On 10/20/2024 at 4:54 pm, an officer responded to the 100 block of north Main Street to conduct a welfare check. A 32 year old Valentine man was cited for possession of marijuana greater than one ounce but less than one pound and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 10/20/2024 at 7:26 pm, an officer responded to the 300 block of west 2nd Street for an assault. A 28 year old Valentine man was arrested for domestic assault and 2nd degree criminal trespassing.
On 10/20/2024 at 8:35 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 4th and Hall Streets. An 18 year old South Dakota woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
On 10/20/2024 at 11:57 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near Main and B Streets. A 35 year old California man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
