Election Day in the KVSH listening area as well as the rest of the United States is next Tuesday, November 5th. A reminder to voters in Cherry County who have received their ballots in the mail and have not yet returned them to the Cherry County Clerk’s office; all ballots must be submitted no later than 8pm on November 5th. While mailing the ballots is an acceptable means of return, any ballot not physically in the office by the deadline will not be counted, regardless of postmark. Meaning that even if you place your ballot in the mail prior to November 5th, if it does not arrive by the deadline, it will not be accepted.
A reminder that there is a ballot drop off box outside the Cherry County Courthouse that is collected daily and is under 24-hour surveillance. You may also hand deliver your ballots if you choose to do so.
