MILFORD, NE – The Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Association (NWGGA) is excited to announce that five Nebraska wineries received top honors
at the 2024 International Cold Climate Wine Competition. This professionally judged competition featured more than 340 wines from Minnesota,
Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Colorado, New York, Nebraska, and Maine. Each wine was tasted by a panel of three judges, scoring each wine independently and then forming a consensus for score and metal award,
gold, silver or bronze. Five Nebraska wineries took home awards in several categories: * Niobrara Valley Vineyards – Best of Show White Blend and Best of Class for “Boss Cow,” and two Silver awards for “Brianna” and “Petite Pearl” The International Cold Climate Wine Competition recognizes the top wines in the Cold Climate wine industry.
