Cherry County Hospital Ambulance Service President Duane Lamb announced to KVSH News that a new ambulance unit has arrived as of October 24th. As we reported earlier on KVSH Radio, Cherry County Hospital started the process of getting a new ambulance a couple years ago thanks in part to a DHHS grant helping to offset the purchase price. The new ambulance Is a 2024 Ford F-450 4-wheel drive with a Type-3 ambulance box manufactured by Arrow Manufacturing replacing a 1999 Ford E-Series Super Duty 4-wheel drive ambulance. Lamb states that this new ambulance will be the largest ever in use by the Cherry County Ambulance Service.
