The Cowboy GRIT organization helping to raise funds for the Cody Kilgore
School construction project hosted a banquet and silent auction on
Saturday, October 12 at Niobrara Valley Vineyards’ event center.
According to Cowboy GRIT president Jamie Simmons, there were about 90
tickets sold, with about $12,000 raised after expenses. Future projects
will be in the works to help in fundraising efforts at the CK School
construction project is a large endeavor, as $1.3 million dollars will
have to be raised in total to offset the difference between school construction and
a proposed school bond issue in the district. Stay tuned to KVSH Radio
