Incidents/Arrests:
On 09/29/2024 at 3:47 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 1st and Cherry Streets. A 20 year old Valentine man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance and minor in possession of alcohol.
On 09/30/2024 at 5:02 am, an officer responded to the 200 block of north Ray Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. A 28 year old Valentine man was identified as a suspect. An arrest warrant will be sought.
On 09/30/2024 at 10:16 am, an officer responded to the 800 block of Donaher Street for a criminal mischief complaint. A 40 year old Valentine woman was identified as a suspect. All investigative reports have been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 10/01/2024 at 7:48 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 3rd and Government Streets. A 37 year old Valentine woman was cited for passing a school bus and having an expired vehicle registration.
On 10/05/2024 at 1:11 pm, an officer responded to the 700 block of east highway 20 for a theft report. A 37 year old Colorado man was cited for 2nd degree forgery.
