Several Valentine Utility customers in the middle of town experienced a brief power outage on Friday. According to city manager Shane Siewart, “the power blink that occurred over the noon hour was caused by a tripped fuse on Hall Street between 3rd and 4th triggered by a squirrel on the power lines. Seven houses were out and others throughout town experienced the blink.
