Incidents/Arrests:
On 09/22/2024 at 7:20 pm, an officer responded to the 500 block of east 2nd Street regarding multiple complaints of city ordinance violations. A 25 year old Valentine man was cited for for these violations.
On 09/24/2024 at 8:32 am, an officer responded to the intersection of 2nd and Cherry Streets for a non-injury accident. A 55 year old Valentine man was cited for a stop sign violation.
On 09/25/2024 at 12:57 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop near 4th Street and Elenora Drive. During the stop, narcotic detection K9 Baker was deployed. A 19 year old South Dakota man was arrested for an active Cherry County warrant and possession of a controlled substance. A 28 year old man, 22 year old man and a 19 year old woman, all from South Dakota, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On 09/26/2024 at 3:02 pm, a welfare check was made on a dog near B and Eva Street.
On 09/27/2024 at 8:35 am, a dog was running at large in the 300 block of north Macomb Street.
