Incidents/Arrests:
On 09/16/2024 at 11:37 pm, officers responded to the 200 block of north Government Street for an assault. A 32 year old Valentine man was arrested for domestic assault, 3rd degree assault and child abuse/neglect.
On 09/18/2024 at 11:59 am, an officer responded to the 800 block of Donaher Street for a complaint of property damage. A 40 year old Valentine woman was identified as a suspect. All investigation reports have been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 09/18/2024 at 10:49 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of south Main Street. A 20 year old Valentine woman was cited for no vehicle registration.
On 09/19/2024 at 6:34 am, officers responded to the 500 block of north Government Street for an assault. A 22 year old South Dakota man was identified as a suspect. All investigation reports have been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 09/19/2024 at 12:24 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of east highway 20. A 47 year old South Dakota woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance.
