An early morning collision between a motor vehicle and a deer at the Minnechaduza bridge on Highway 83 just north of the Valentine city limits prompted a response by emergency crews at about 7am on Wednesday.  Cherry County Hospital Ambulance service was notified that there were 6 occupants in the vehicle and that there was airbag deployment.  However, the ambulance returned to the Cherry County Hospital with no patients on board.  The Valentine Volunteer Fire Department returned to the fire hall a short time later.
