A reminder to area motorists about the road closure of the bridge over the Minnechaduza Creek on Nebraska Highway 12, Three miles east of Valentine. The closure will last between now and May 23, 2025.
During the closure, the Nebraska DOT states that traffic will be detoured utilizing Hwy 83 North of Valentine, then unpaved county roads Whitetail Road, Nollett Road, and 906th Road before returning to Nebraska Highway 12 near mile marker 7. The detour for all traffic will be marked.
There will not be a bypass during construction and the closure is expected to be in place all winter.
